Ladies in Tech & Leadership Network 

As an advocate for women empowerment, Abiola Laseinde established the Ladies in Tech & Leadership Network, a supportive network designed to uplift, mentor, and connect women in business, leadership and technology.  

This initiative provides a vital platform for African women in business and technology to connect, collaborate, and innovate. Held yearly featuring top female executives, this event offers a nurturing space for women to network, relax, and engage in discussions covering a wide array of topics. 

With a mission to cultivate a more diverse, inclusive, and progressive technology industry, the program underscores the importance of embracing diversity for enhanced creativity and innovation. 

The CIO & C-Suite Conference & Awards Africa

 As she likes to say, "as a divine inspiration from God," Abiola Laseinde launched The CIO & C-Suite Awards to spotlight Nigeria's digital tech leaders. Since that time, the awards have grown to become Africa's most prestigious platform celebrating outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact of top executives across the continent. The initiative has been at the forefront of recognizing visionaries who are not just adapting to change but actively architecting Africa's digital transformation

The CIO & C-Suite Club Africa

To maintain a more strategic outlook following the first awards event, Abiola Laseinde founded The CIO & C-Suite Club Africa, Africa's premier executive community, a club uniquely positioned at the intersection of Africa's most dynamic sectors. Established in 2021, the Club has evolved into an unprecedented force of transformation, connecting CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, Heads of IT, and other senior leaders across diverse industries and over 11 African nations. The Club is built on four strategic pillars—Advocacy, Empowerment, Research and Development, and Think-Tank initiatives—serving as the vital bridge between technology leaders, OEMs, government organizations, and key stakeholders. 

WEP

Through Edniesal Consulting, Abiola Laseinde actively supports the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), participating in the Affirmative Procurement Project with WISCAR, UN Women, and the African Development Bank. Her work creates transformative opportunities for women-owned businesses, bridging gender gaps and demonstrating how inclusion and diversity can fuel innovation and economic growth. 

Strap and Safe Child’s Foundation 

Abiola Laseinde is a director of the Strap and Safe Child Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that advocates the importance of Child Safety on the Road, at Home, and in School. 

INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR FRESPONSIBLE DRINKING (IARD)

 As Executive Director of the Beer Sectoral Group (BSG), Abiola Laseinde plays a pivotal role in shaping responsible industry practices through her membership in the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD). This strategic position enables her to collaborate with global industry leaders in developing and implementing sustainable policies that promote responsible consumption across Africa where she champions innovative approaches to industry self-regulation and corporate responsibility, while ensuring African perspectives are represented in global conversations about sustainable industry practices.   

ICSAN 

Abiola Laseinde has been a leader in the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), serving as the Past Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter from 2016 to 2018. Her remarkable leadership extended beyond this role, with continued significant contributions including her ongoing role as Chairman of the Corporate Members and Training Committee, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the Governance Trainee Scheme. As a dedicated Council Member from 2015 to July 2024, Laseinde has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the institute, demonstrating her deep commitment to professional development, governance excellence, and nurturing the next generation of corporate governance professionals in Nigeria. 

FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers) 

As a dedicated member of FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers), Abiola Laseinde is committed to advancing women's rights, legal empowerment, and social justice. Her involvement with this prestigious organization reflects her passion for leveraging legal expertise to promote gender equality, protect women's legal rights, and provide critical support to vulnerable populations. Through FIDA, Laseinde contributes to meaningful legal advocacy, supports women's professional development, and works towards creating systemic changes that enhance women's legal protections and opportunities in Nigeria and across Africa.
